Anxiety Therapy for Women in San Francisco

Stop Overthinking. Trust

Yourself Again.

You may spend so much time worrying about other people, getting things right, or holding everything together that you've forgotten to ask yourself what you need. You might replay conversations and wonder if you said the wrong thing, question your decisions, or worry about disappointing people. You may look to others for reassurance before trusting your own judgment.

You may know exactly what advice you would give a friend in your situation, yet struggle to trust yourself when it comes to your own life.

Over time, anxiety can leave you feeling exhausted from constantly questioning yourself and wondering whether you can trust your own judgment.

Therapy can help you quiet the self-doubt, feel more confident in your choices, and trust yourself again.

Kimberly Rudy, LCSW. Helping women move beyond anxiety, self-doubt, and overthinking so they can trust themselves more.

When You're Harder on Yourself Than Anyone Else

If you're like many of the women I work with, you care deeply about the people in your life and often put their needs ahead of your own. You work hard, want to do the right thing, and hold yourself to high standards. Yet you may struggle to offer yourself the same understanding and compassion that you so freely give to others.

You may find yourself trying to meet impossible standards, feeling guilty when you put yourself first, or wondering why no matter how much you accomplish, it never feels like enough.

No matter how much you achieve, the goalposts keep moving.

Therapy Can Help You Trust Yourself Again

Together, we'll work on quieting the self-doubt, relying less on reassurance from others, setting healthier boundaries, and feeling more confident in your decisions. We'll explore the beliefs, expectations, and relationship patterns that may be contributing to anxiety and self-doubt while helping you develop greater trust in your own judgment.

Therapy is not about becoming someone different. It is about helping you trust yourself more and feel less pulled in every direction by anxiety, self-doubt, and the expectations of others.

My Approach

With over 21 years of experience, I help women navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach combines IFS-informed therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.

I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and grounded in what matters most to you. My goal is not only to help you feel less anxious, but also to help you trust yourself more and feel more confident in your choices.
